I like skylines either in daylight or shining at night because a city’s skyline is what makes it unique. I chose this picture of Chicago’s skyline when I visited it last summer. I was there when the weather was really nice and sunny. It was a happy day overall that I like to remember.
Red has always been one of my favorite colors. I loved it before I knew what it symbolizes and when I learned that it represents joy, passion, sensitivity, happiness, leadership, courage, and good fortune I loved it even more. Those are characteristics that I see in myself. Hence, I chose this picture that captures the beauty of the color red in my favorite fruit ever, tomatoes.
P.S. The color of the baskets that hold the grape tomatoes is my second best color. I like the calmness of it and like the fact that this shade of color has so many names. It is almost impossible to describe accurately. What’s the name of this color to you? I’d love to know!
I wanted to start my very first post with this picture of a cars’ parking space on a college campus. Looking at it now might be intimidating to a lot of Saudi women who are not permitted to drive in Saudi yet, but I am hoping that soon it won’t be so. Though the struggle to get the right to drive seems an infinite one to many Saudi’s, but I think we’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.
